Have a crush on a cute guy or gal in your neighborhood but not sure which building he lives in? No problem. Cue: White Pages Neighbors.
White Pages Neighbors is a cyber-sleuth's dream. No more crawling Craigslist's Missed Connections hoping he saw you or she spotted the post. Now it's time to be pro-active. Just enter your address and see who else pops up. Maybe you saw him leaving the gym and walking into the building across the street from yours. Or, maybe you saw her grab her mail and take the elevator up with you in your very building (!) only to lose her on the 8th floor. Don't worry, it's not doomed; you, my dear, have got a bird's eye view -- often complete with phone number.
The site, which let's you correct your own information, is a bit nebulous, aka I don't fully understand yet how to use all the bells and whistles, but apparently, you may organize a block party of sorts. You can even auto-send postcards via first-class mail (free! Yup, no cost for the stamps). So, at this rate, you can invite all the cuties to a popular local pub, let's say, and peruse your options all in one shot.
If all this gets a tad tricky, don't forget about Searchbug's PeopleFinder tool. Here you may also type in an address and view neighbors building-by-building.
May opportunity knock.
