Is someone calling you or your boyfriend and hanging up? Want to know who it is but don't want to call the number to find out? You're in luck.
If the number is a cell phone you've hit the jackpot. To determine this go to PhoneValidator.com and find out.
If the person is calling you from a cell move on to SpyDialer.com and type in the cell phone number, then hit "dial." Don't worry, it doesn't actually dial. It taps into the person's voicemail so that you can hear the voice and message of that person's phone without really ringing them.
As of now, the site is in Beta, aka testing mode and it's free to check who called.
I almost had a heart attack when I read the disclaimer AFTER I'd SpyDialed half my friends in Manhattan to test it out:
The free version frequently leaves a "missed call" number that when called, plays a message telling the person they've been spy dialed.
Fortunately, no one that I SpyDialed to test received any such message, including myself. Still, something to keep in mind. Part of being a great sleuth is covering your own tracks.
If the number is a landline visit WhitePages.com or Searchbug.com and do reverse searches to see if you're able to ascertain a name. Once you have a name you have a starting point.
